We at Greater Expectations Child Development Center (GECDC) focus on nurturing a child’s learning experience through structured social play therapy, academic enrichment, and rehabilitation therapies and will function as the developmental daycare and preschool of choice in Burlington County, New Jersey. Our student-centered program is dedicated to strengthening the whole child (disabled and non-disabled) through explorations in movement, sound, sensory integration, behavioral intervention, American Sign Language, and academic enrichment.
This program will equip children with the tools and strategies necessary to function alongside regular education students by increasing social and interpersonal skills, functional language, and academic performance, thereby decreasing inappropriate social behaviors.
Greater Expectations Child Development Center strives to create a unique and individualized educational environment in which children between the ages of one and six, with varying levels of ability and family backgrounds, can feel free to imagine, create and learn the tools necessary to matriculate into inclusive school-age programs.
The target area of Burlington County, New Jersey is saturated with daycare facilities ill-prepared to handle the specific needs of a child with communication, social-emotional difficulties, behavioral challenges, and sensory needs. This program will successfully meet the need for exceptional childcare, academic rigor and therapeutic services for children with developmental disabilities.
